I had not read, during the last few years, a book of poetry so ‘full of life’ as this one. It is easy to be complicated in poetry, as in life, yet so hard to be simple. - Sitakant Mahapatra // Saroj is just unstoppable... the ‘must read’ poet of contemporary Odia poetry! He enjoys the luminous metaphors of metaphysical quest as much as his impish dalliances with the bizarre and the banal! At once the boastful brat and the contemplative philosopher, so much like Rimbaud in his Seasons in Hell. No translation can destroy the irreducible essence of Saroj’s poetry. - Haraprasad Das
